CuisineFarts was done over a weekend as I tried to teach myself how to write a Google Chrome browser extension. I wanted to do something fun and simple.
Once I had Version 0.1 running, I sent it to a few friends and I was surprised by the great reception it received. So I decided to give it a facelift and turn it into an “official” extension. I’m shooting for March 10th as the release date.
I was surprised by a couple of facts myself.
First, that CuisineFarts is the first (and only) Chrome extension to fart. Given how many farting apps are on the iPhone, I thought there would be many of them. I was wrong.
Second, from what I can tell, CuisineFarts is also the first fart app that breaks down our precious gasses by cuisine type.
When CF is released next week (Ver 0.3) it will have three cuisines: Italian, Mexican, and Persian.
I’d appreciate feedback as to what other types of cuisines you’d like me to add as I rev up. You can send me feedback here.
